Shame really. Bowen is a phenomenon, and it's a joy to see a home grown (*, okay, from Hereford) striker come through the ranks and wreak havoc against second tier defences. The kid seems humble and grounded also (hope he doesn't prove me wrong).
All great players are allowed to handle the ball into the goal. Maradona... Messi... McShane... and now Bowen.
He is indeed deserving of all the praise and plaudits which come his way. A shame it couldn’t have happened for him in better times. I am sure no one will think badly of him if he does move on, though I hope he doesn’t.
Also Waggy, and Francis Lee who I recall describing one of his as a handy goal to score. And don’t forget Thierry Henry.
And that twat for Arsenal v City who thumped the ball into the net. Referee Clutterbuck allowed it, then apologised for the mistake at half time, then retired to avoid the flak only to return to refereeing a week later.
