i think robbo & clucas need to make their mind up when to cross it quick & when to play the little touches! Sometimes last night they took an extra touch or passed back! When they've got a chance to get it in the box! Every unneeded touch gives the oppo chance to get organised!
Seen lots of comments about Moses O's crossing, it was very poor. There were quite a few occasions in the first half when he had beaten the fullback (or whoever) and then made a poor cross when at the time it was clear he had the pace and the space to take the ball further to the by line and then pull it back (or not) as opposed to crossing it Elmo style somewhere in the middle. It was clear after around .5 of an hour that City were not going to win the game. We seemed ponderous even when we started to dominate the game in the second half.
Maybe so, but preferably cup ties, or league games where a comfortable lead has been established, but not knife edge games against near rivals.
Should never have dropped 2 points yesterday. For all the pressure we piled on in second half we did not have the quality to unlock their defence & score. Worrying lack of service to Hernandez (Meyler & Livermore both poor). Shocking crosses into the box & no decent through balls on the floor for Hernandez. We talk about the difference Andre Gray would have made if we signed him but with the lack of service from midfield last night he wouldn't have scored either last night. We were trying to walk the ball into the goal. If Weds had 8/9 men behind the ball it was never going to happen so why not try firing some shots in from outside the 18 yard box ? Are we scared to shoot or do we not know how to ?
Dave?? Two footed?? Have you seen him playing at LB? He consistently has to cut in field because he has absolutely no left foot.
Rips the pizz out of me how some of these phoney oversea f ukers who are nothing more than an easy excuse for the resident multi trolls to post 24/7 get swallowed so easily. Oversea Canada and oz my big fat Hull City arse lol. Bruce OUT
Boro 3 shots on target: WON Burnley 4: WON City 2: DREW Derby 4: LOST So what's the secret? There isn't one, the shot must be a surprise, away from the keeper, hard enough etc.
There's only 2 stats we need to know. 1. We failed to score 2. We dropped points again. Another typical 'Steve Bruce' performance. Very solid but poor when it comes to the final third. Midfielders coming far too deep leaving those ahead of them hopelessly outnumbered. Too ponderous and predictable. A central midfielder once again played upfront (sort of, somewhere). We should be doing it in style, we're not, but hopefully our 'Steve Bruce' side do manage to somehow stumble across the finish line in the top 2.
At least someone at City has got a sense of humour, the sign greeting the Wendies in the away end said 'Welcome To Hull, Yorkshire's No.1' and we wouldn't let them have any alcohol.
Do you mean like the one that Clucas struck that hit the post, or the shot that Diame took that was narrowly wide?
well Brucie usually ****s up the last few games of the season - first season, 2 points out of 12, second season 1 point and last season 1 point out of the last 4 games
