I was thinking about rear view as well but I'm poncey and got a convertible so don't think it's an option.

I got cut up twice by the same car on the same day. Once on the way to work and once on way home, he's also cut me up 3 or 4 other times and I've witnessed him doing it to other drivers as well. The roads are just getting more dangerous every day.

As I don't actually own my car not sure if hard wire is an option but also don't want wires over the dash to the power point.

I'm going to have to do some proper research to see what's the best option

we have a built in rear view camera but it doesnt record so I suppose it can be done without too much effort but it would be more expensive and limit your options for changing
I saw a car speeding at about 60 mph in a 30 and as it went passed I turned and said "wow!". I saw a woman look at me who'd gone past me at the same time. She thought my comment was to her!

    Sunland getting done over.
Big boost for us to take into this game.

I doubt henriksen is in the starting line up today but if he comes on can we give a bit of support. It does no good to keep getting on his back. <ok>

I'll give him my full support if he stays on the bench, unless he has grown some balls and makes a tackle.

Easy to hide the wires TM.... just run them along and behind the cowling thing around the window screen, down the pillar to the door rubber, behind that and down to the foot well and then either under the mat or under the carpet and plug into the cigarette lighter socket... the only difference I think to hard wiring is that the car continues to record when parked when hard wired.... other than that, every time you turn on the ignition the cigarette powered connection starts the unit automatically.

The best dash cam advice is not to have one. Why would you supply evidence for your own conviction? It's beyond me.

Amazing what you pick up on dashcams. I've called this one "arse scratcher"

The best and proper way to do it would be to go through the bulkhead and drop it directly on the battery. Nearly anywhere you piggyback off inside the car will be after the ignition and you wouldn't want to use up your in car 12v either.
