maybe I've been fast asleep - but just noticed the large flags being waved after we scored - we've morphed into Palace
Mooney's legacy. Unfortunately, loads of clubs are using these cheap gimmicks. Dunno anybody whose impressed by it.
The great thing about players with experience is that they don't have to depend on Steve Bruce to guide them as to what to do in the attacking third. We know how inept the attacking tactics have been for a few seasons now, get it wide to someone (normally Elmo in the past), get in box and wait, lump it in and hope someone gets on it.
Re Elmo agree, get the ball in the middle and hope someone gets a hold of it. Noticed last night when Odubajo gets the ball in an attacking position at lease he tries to take a man and on occasions is successful whereas Elmo rarely takes a man on and if he does he is almost never successful. Correct me if I am wrong please.
Yeah I saw that, right to do so as it turned out he was faking it. I always wonder though, if that was our player down faking it, would we have been happy that the other team played on?
[QUOTE="originallambrettaman, post: 8698322, member: video[/QUOTE] That's great, almost feel for Macca
God - we are a tough lot to keep happy. There is a possibility we could be top after the weekend then just the Burnley bogey to put right and then we might all start believing.
Could not agree more ^^^^ this. However, Clucas is now in need of a rest especially with the festive programme almost here. Maloney for Clucas IMO @ Rotherham.
Some on here will never be happy whatever happens. These are glory days/years compared to what used to happen being a Hull City supporter. Not even at the half-way point yet, joint 3rd in the championship, 2 points off top spot and as you say we could be top by Saturday night. Yes all is not good at all. Enough is enough. Bruce Out.!!!!!
Watching the whole of the buildup to their goal, Livermore was totally oblivious to looking for a man to mark. He should have spotted their #6 (Norwood ?) was unmarked, perhaps Elmo should have yelled out to Livermore to warn him of that fact, as their # 6 was the one who set up the final pass to the unmarked goalscorer. Poor awareness and teamwork.
Very unfortunate for him really, I think he suffers a lot when other players go missing as he tries to overcompensate
That too, but for the previous minute+ both Elmo & Livermore were marking thin air - terrible communication and shirking responsibility.
