What a great performance all round, but Connolly was magic. Pulled the ball out of mid air so many times and didn’t let early miss affect him - very cool for the two goals. Christie had a brilliant game too. Fabulous in attack and made Chair look anonymous. Seri imperious as always and the defence looked rock solid. Well done all!
I need to make these predictions more often! We didn’t play silly keep ball though as I feared we would (QPR did however!). I thought that was very similar to the Sheff Utd performance. I much prefer the more direct style when going forward.
That performance & result has been coming. Connolly being unwanted by the rest of the Championship looks staggering and shows how quickly young talent gets written off. On another note, I'd be throwing a couple of million on the table for Sinclair Armstrong. That kid is going to be worth a fortune in a couple of years time with the right coaching

Very good today. We look so much more professional as a team, not the push overs we were earlier in the season. Thought they all played well but Christie, Connolly and Seri were outstanding. Rosie has certainly brought something to this City.
