Good going to get a result with no midfield whatsoever. The only one to take up even a slightly forward position was Meyler and sadly he has no pace or skill. Livermore especially useless today, Hudd slow as ever.

I thought Ramsey's substitutions helped us. Austin, Zamora and Kranjcar going off left them with no threat and allowed us to attack.
everyone quickly needs to realise that Huddlestone/Meyler/livermore are an absolutely terrible midfield.WHat's annoying is they seemed like a step up at first but our standards have gone up too and they have become really poor, very little impact now. those are the players we need to replace to really step things up.

Commentator on my stream said Joey could equally have gone for a (just) previous foul. \i didn't see it - did anyone else?
The push on Bruce? I didnt think it warranted a red card if thats what he was on about. It was a yellow at most but I dont think it probably warranted a yellow card.
The commentator said at half time that Barton was going to get the red anyway (can't remember if from the ref or fourth official) for the push on Bruce (which seems a bit harsh).
