if we beat derby, we'd be on 51, derby could then only reach 49 so we'd be safe as cardiff n plymouth can only reach 49
Walked back to the car a bit numb wasn't exactly sure what happened elsewhere. Just read some of the posts here, I cant believe the pelters Joseph got. He hasn't been playing and in a situation like this you want people to run through a wall for you. He did and the some. To a man today after the first pen the whole persona changed. It goes without saying that has to be carried through to Derby. They will lump it and we need people prepared to put their bodies on the line. Selles got the starting line up right today other than Puerta for me. Big up to an outstanding referee, not just for the penalties.
When I posted the “ If “ poem earlier for some reason I was thinking of Joffy being the hero to step up. Cov to beat Luton in the early kick off, we then just need a draw against derby… but **** that back to back home wins for the first time this season for me please…..
Still think it's going down to the last day but that's given us a chance of it being in our hands at least. Would be lovely if we could just finish it off next game though wouldn't it.
For what...?... we didn't score in open play again, we couldn't defend a corner. We conceded first again. Dont be a prick all your life Brady, have a night off.
I'd be worried if I was Preston as 2 defeats could very well see them go down the way the bottom clubs are fighting it out .
Bloody hell, only Cardiff have won fewer games than Preston this year. They genuinely could go down if they don't pick up another point.
Plymouth in last chance saloon next up for them on Sat, followed by Bristol City on the last day. Don’t fancy that for them at all.
We still need to get above them, I’m more worried about us ****ing up! Every time we get a decent result, so does the rest of them, a few weeks back, 48/49 was good to stay up, now it’s 50/51!
Teams have gone down with 51 and 54 points fairly recently . I said a few weeks ago it'll take 51 to totally guarantee staying up
