I think Stewart started to look like the player he was at the start of the season when Lopes went off against Boro. I know they were a man down, but he seems in his shell when Lopes is alongside him - he seemed to step up and take responsibility once he went off. Batty seems to compliment him, so I'd be happy with those two as the sitting midfielders - then one from; Lopes (who looks good in tight situations - could be worth trying him in behind the striker as part of the midfield 3 rather than sitting in front of the back 4, as that pass in the final third is where we've come unstuck a lot this season - Toral remedied that for a brief period), Irvine or Honeyman as the last midfield option of the 3 man midfield. Reading McCann's comments, I actually think he might start Bowen there, with Bowler on the right and Eaves/Magennis upfront. I might but a tenner on that, I think I understand football so should get good odds especially if he's dropped. Thanks for the tip Desfrog Regarding the game one way or another we need a win, I don't know much about them but must be decent riding high but Hopefully we will bring them down a pet or two. 2.1
Knowing City as I do, they'll win this evening, but lose on Saturday at Barnsley and probably struggle vs Stoke the following Saturday.
I'm not keen on all this Eaves dropping in general. Seems like he plays every second game and gets dropped in between. It can't be good for him. But on the other hand, he was really quite **** at Boro at the weekend.
His decision to give Stoke a throw-in, when it clearly came off their bloke, still pisses me of today. He must have been the only prat in the stadium who didn't see it came off their man, and that they were funnelling back to defend a City throw in. But that didn't register with the half-wit. What happened? They equalise with about ten to go and we draw 1-1. https://www.skysports.com/football/hull-city-vs-stoke/313401
Terrorists who were thwarted in their attempt to gain illicit entry to the stadium by the locked gate, find their plan B turns to ****.
I don't think so, we have an excellent drainage system. It goes right into the Allam's bank accounts, as it happens.
I reckon the @themaclad will get a nibble from some of this. https://www.not606.com/threads/hull-city-v-preston-north-end-kcom-stadium.379397/
