Rick says there was a tactical adjustment: http://boothferrytowembley.blogspot.co.uk/2015/08/hull-city-2-preston-0-diame-starts.html
I had Radio 2 on last week It was the Steve Wright show. He had a guy on from ONS who said Flamingo landi is one of the most popular attractions outside London which was quite surprising
Like I said on the last page... It was a 4 2 3 1 Diame was in front of the two other midfielders and Abel more left side with Chubs up top alone
Never even noticed anything on the big screen. To busy watching the game and singing....o and talking to the juniors who want to move from e4 to e5 next season.
How good was it to finally have a player on the pitch who can take a decent corner? I really liked the look of Maloney, he looks so confident on the ball, exactly the sort of player we've been lacking since Koren left. Though we weren't brilliant yesterday, at least it was a much better performance than the previous two games.
Maloney has been a player I have rated for years. I can't wait to see him in midfield. Did he play in midfield yesterday when he came on?
He did, though it was a little difficult to follow what formation we were actually playing yesterday. We started off 4-4-2, but then seemed to switch to 4-3-3 for a while, then moved on to five in the middle towards the end.
Thought he might have given a nod to our McGregor. He pulled off a fantastic save from Humphrey when Preston were dominating in the opening spell. Couple of good punches to clear as well. Should do his confidence some good.
McGregor had a solid game, but his feigning to kick the ball out when a forward is closing him down does worry me that one day he will make a mistake and actually kick it him.
Something just occurred to the other half as they were reading yesterday's programme - no number and no half time draw. Is that an omission for yesterday or has it gone fir good?
