Lump the mortgage money on then matey.... You know it makes sense.... Seriously. Flapping around like headless turkeys cos we've lost a couple isn't doing anyone any favours. Just gonna undermine the good work that has been done up to now. Just cos enobs being a **** by undermining the season... Doesn't mean we have to do the same.
I didn't see the game just the result as was having a really nice long weekend in Saigon, which is as near to something Christmassy that I am likely to get here. Managed to find a nice wine shop, so got a bottle or two of Barossa Valley Shiraz to have Xmas day. So had a great weekend, only spoilt marginally by City's result. All I will say on that subject is I am not surprised.
Strange isn’t it, they should be pristine. Maybe we’ve furloughed the grounds man and forgot to tell him to come back
It’s not the results, it’s the performances. It’s the same **** from the manager every game. I thought at the start he’d learnt from last season, but these last few games, it just feels & looks like last season.
I know what you mean, but lightning doesn’t strike twice. We might end up mid table, but the relegation won’t happen.
It’s the way we concede goals aswell. We’ve dropped a division and still concede like a Sunday league team
We do but it doesn’t match the sun Same as rain weve been having Not through lack of effort from the lads
Funny thing about football is you need some things in place to get the best performances with the greatest chance of winning games. You need fully fit players who aren’t inhibited by over training or in some cases over playing. You need a manager who has the tactical ability to set up a team to control and then win a game, a manager who can adapt his game plan to nullify opposition changes and make substitutions that will turn a game on its head when required. You need players to feel valued for what they are doing sometimes a pat on the back sometimes a bollocking if they can do better, sometimes a new contract. It’s a tricky balance but motivation of individuals and the formulation of a team can be easily upset by one event such as the KLP saga. Don’t kid yourself, the players will be talking about this and it will have affected the motivation of our side. Ehab and Terry have ****ed up the team dynamics more than once before with this ridiculous naughty step routine. Ehab is just about saving KLP’s wage rise and Terry wants sorting out by making it a public matter. It’s a very easy way to lose the dressing room.
