If my math is correct there’s about 120 seats left in the bowl, west upper is where there’s a few left but not a vast amount, by match day that could be full also…
I know you've mentioned being a former keeper before. Did you do the school holiday football courses for FITC? I used to go to loads of those as a kid including a goalkeeper specific one at one point.
I bet I'll have been on one of them with you then. The way I remember it I was on them basically every school holiday around those years. I'd have been 8 to 11 then.
Game not on Tigers+ internationally? They really should look at a rebate based on the number of games unavailable due to being on television, it could end up being a significant portion.
I've just noticed the next 3 games are saying unavailable where I am in Vietnam, and the last game against Stoke was also unavailable, as you say if this number of games are not available then it could end up a significant portion.
Did you ever have anything to do with the goalkeeping school at Boothferry Park? They used to do one behind the gym with Steve Wilson. I used to go as a nipper.
The trust work has always been great. It just feels better at the moment with the media being better and having people in charge who seem to genuinely care about the wider hull city family
Grandsons 9 goalie , goes for keeper training at St Mary’s not sure who does it and how experienced they are . He’s a solid fearless keeper saves bangers LOL !!
It's only £170 for a season video pass isn't it? If every game was televised, that would be £3.69 a game, if ten games aren't shown, it's still only £4.72 a game, even if half the games weren't shown it would still only be £7.39 a game, it's peanuts.
Fair enough. Have had this discussion previously and people aren't going to agree. It's all relative I suppose. Putting aside people's stances on what a fair price to be paying is, you can't ignore the fact that one club's supporters may be paying 170 quid for 40 games and another paying the same price for 28 games and it's based on nothing else than the whims of TV companies. That's not exactly fair. EDIT: According to this (not sure how trustworthy) Blackburn were shown 19 times on Sky last season, with Bristol City only on TV 4 times. Add in the international 3pm game that gets picked may normalise that slightly, but even so, that suggests that Blackburn supporters paying for iFollow were paying the same price as Bristol City supporters to watch 15 less of their games. That's a bit smelly. https://www.birminghamworld.uk/spor...esbrough-norwich-city-millwall-4139946?page=7
Most of us pay £10 a game for the ones we can't attend in person, so I doubt you'll get much sympathy on here..
Of course, as I said it's all relative and paying for a streaming service is a little different to paying for a sporting event you attend in person? I've never attempted to compare the two. The only people doing that are the ones turning their nose up at people taking issue with the price of the streaming service. People complain about Sky prices but the cost per game is miniscule, so why complain about that? But again, my point was around one service having a different number of games to another but charging the same price. Not sure why that's being ignored.
Most probably then they where great for the kids, I used to go on them myself as a kid back in the early 90s. They where my first interaction with the club before signing for them
Only as a youngster going myself. We also used to train back there on a Wednesday evening alongside the rest of the goalkeepers from the COE.
I was comparing streaming costs, I never mentioned the cost of attending games in person. You also seem to be assuming that clubs are all charging the same, but seeing a different amount of games, which isn't the case. We offer heavily discounted season video passes, whereas some other clubs just apply the £10 flat fee for each game.
