We need more depth and different options up front, finishing the transfer window with just those 2 is poor business as a club
Don't want to go on being critical but Traore from 25 yards...Someone should shout NO. He's got more chance of knocking off someone's syrup in ROW Z. ps..Where is Tufan? Missing him big time...Not even on the bench. Don't tell me he's legged it back home.
I think it’s to try and shoehorn Morton, Slater and Traore in. Personally, I’d drop Traore for Delap. I thought Delap wide right worked very well against Leicester.
Question for you...if Delap makes it at Man City or any other top premiership team and he will, do you think he will be played wide right...
No. Not saying it’s ideal but I’d rather he was somewhere on the pitch than on the bench. His goal against Leicester from that position was superb.
There was a lot of booing when we went one down, I nearly decked the clueless **** behind me. He’s irritating every game, but even more irritating than normal today. In the end, I just told him to stop ****ing whinging. He did.
I agree he should be on the pitch, but he's not. When he's played for England where has he played... up top central.. what does Pep see him as 'a predator'... where does he get played when he gets played... its a waste a complete waste...
Whilst I don’t think most people would disagree with that, it’s pretty obvious that the system/tactics that is/are working so well for us away from home is not allowing us to play with enough freedom at home to win games. Most of us are just saying it needs a bit of a rethink at home to try and find a solution.
I think they will admit it when they sign someone in Jan. As they did when they tried to sign Davies.
I felt throughout today that he would have been better suited down the middle than Connolly. We needed his physicality and guile. Connolly was trying lots of cute flicks, that often nearly came off tbf, but Delap would have given them something different to think about.
Don't let Oscar go then once Davis doesn't happen. Which ever way you try to justify it, it's just piss poor management by the club which has left short of bodies/options. Changing that in January has to be the #1 priority
I'm not trying to justify letting Oscar go and leaving us light. But that doesn't change the fact we were chasing a 3rd striker at the end of the window and are likely to revisit that in Jan.
