Yep and this ref interpreted the rules wrong, he realised it as he pulled the yellow out as he clearly didn't realise Puerta was already on a yellow. It's wild that people are still trying to defend a decision the ref himself probably regrets. What you're essentially saying is "The ref got it wrong but unless you're in favour of using a video ref to make sure they always get it right, you should be happy to accept the ref getting it wrong". That's kinda weird to me. We're still allowed to point out when they get it wrong. If you're acknowledging the ref got it wrong but we should swallow it as it's better than the alternative (VAR) then that's a better position to argue than actually trying to defend the decision (what PLT and brady are doing). If that makes me an arse then.. ok? Sorry that I don't think the ref made the right decision.
".. just a bit incredulous that you and PLT have somehow maintained this conversation for three days..'" You'd wonder how on earth it keeps going wouldn't you
Not sure if this is a pot shot at me or them but as I've only joined it in the last day I assume the latter. I'll stand by to be corrected though..
George Best: "Ref, can I get a red card for what I'm thinking?" Ref: " Don't be daft George, of course not!" George: " I think you're a c... ref."
Best to "exterminate" the catalyst of this merry-go-round I'd say. Scarborough (Sydney !) at night...
If it hadn't, Billy Hills would've had a fight on their hands for my winnings back. Thanks again Gus.
