And we know that Gelhardt has that bit of fire and ****husery about him, he's not giving defenders any peace.
All these goals/games stats aren't that helpful when the player concerned spends half or more of his time on the bench. Goals/minutes played might be more helpful imo.
Geldhardt's were almost all starts (he started 16, with just 2 appearances from the bench). Burstow started 12 and came off the bench in another 8, but he only scored one, so his actual minutes are fairly irrelevant as they'll still make his stint there poor.
In Burstows case this season 2 goals and an assist in 24 seems a lot worse than 2 goals and an assist in 9 (800 mins). Still not stellar but a lot different. Assuming I've read the stats correctly...
I live in the US but will be attending this game - fully prepared for the disappointment inherent in support of City. I’ve been to a few pubs in the old town, but would be grateful if anyone could provide suggestions for match preparation. The missus will be joining me, but she is supportive, not a supporter, so looking for a nice place with decent cask ale not necessarily a city experience. Thank you in advance.
This may be a daft question as I should really know the answer…but…. Can pedro still train as usual during the ban ???
Pity Pedro's appeal failed, not a surprise though. It will be interesting to see what Ruben goes with. Either Joseph up front with Gelhardt going wide and Crooks behind Joseph. Or play Gerhardt as a striker with Crooks behind, and Joseph wide. I would quite like to see the latter,
Does anyone know if Puerta’s buy-clause is 23 games or 23 starts? He already has 23 appearances but 16 starts.
Agreed. How else is he supposed to improve the quality of his finishing if he's not on the park, upfront, and provided with goalscoring opportunities?
