Further good news is that whatever West Brom, Derby (of the Frank Lampard variety) ot Florist achieve in their games tonight, we'll still hold a 3 or 4 point gap over all of them. <ok>

As said before, his value will be higher because of his age (21). With 3 goals already that will rise further if he keeps scoring. Lewis (20) and Aarons (18) both have an even greater age factor in their favour. Hopefully we'll gain promotion and they can prove themselves there with us.

    Three to one in fact.

    Our next four to Christmas:

    Rotherham (h) 19th
    Bolton (h) 23rd
    Bristol City (a) 16th
    Blackburn (a) 11th

    Leeds have:

    Sheffield United (a) (4th)
    QPR (h) (8th)
    Bolton (a) (23rd)
    Villa (a) (9th)

I know which schedule I'd rather have!

Anyone else notice Trybull's reaction when he was subbed? He didn't look happy. Because he didn't put the header away? Or because he was subbed?

Hard to know which CS. He hasn't had much match time recently, so there could be a precautionary element involved. DF could also have wanted Vrancic's greater creativity for the final stages. Ironically, Trybull was our highest rated player on WhoScored (7.4).

I hope he wasn't angry at being taken off. The team doesn't need that right now. The look on Farke's face when T.T. pulled away from him sticks in my mind.

Note: Whoscored now has Emi at 7.6 and T.T. at 7.2. They always go back after the game and make a few adjustments.

I guess it must be really hard for him, as Leitner is certainly ONE of the essential cogs in the team and Tettey is playing better than ever.
Part of the reason for his miss last night is that he was trying too hard.

Agree with the above. It’s a real shame he missed the goal actually, because I thought he was excellent.

It really feels like we have a lot of both strength and creativity in depth in midfield

I agree with you, Rob. T.T. was very good in tough conditions.

Nightmare conditions and the pitch was also in poor condition. A ploy to stop us playing our passing game!!! <doh>

Grabban just scored his second on 82 mins in a 5-5 Villa v Forrest.

    Sounds like some game.

Ipswich lost 2-3 to Bristol City

Stoke beating Frank Lampard's Derby 2-1

Baggies 2-1 up away from home to Swans

Norwich still top by 1 point

I saw a photo somewhere taken on Tuesday night and the grass was quite a way up the player’s boots and then there is one here -http://norwichcity.myfootballwriter.com/2018/12/01/still-some-way-to-go-before-the-game-we-all-love-is-genuinely-accessible-to-all/ that shows the player just standing on the grass. I know one of the senior grounds staff at CR and the grass is always cut to 25mm before a game.
