I don't remember the game as being one sided as match of the day just showed it. Apart from the three Newcastle goals, every other chance they showed was us.

Ash never had a fantastic range of passing ability either but he had heart, which is something that Huddlestone appears to lack but certainly something that Meyler has. If we're going with what we've got, from a midfield perspective, I'd rather watch Meyler grow into that role than watch Huddlestone fester in it.

Did anyone stay for the Reserves game? What was the score?

Also just read on AN there was a bit of scrapping/stand off in E5 at 19:04. Anyone see that or know what happened.

It was 8-0 to us apparently Chazz, maybe a few of those lads see an opportunity

Robertson was clearly distraught after giving the ball away for the first goal. There was a great opportunity for Curtis Davies to show some captaincy skills by putting an arm around a young lad learning his trade and telling him to keep his chin up. Davies has not been the same since Dawson arrived.

    You might be right.

But Robertson's ball was unforgivably bad.

    At this level, suicidally bad.

He is making these type of mistakes, and ATM it means he is a liability.

Figgy wouldn't have played that ball.

    He should be dropped.

Cheers. They're doing well. That Scunny team in midweek had loads of first team experience.

Any news on the trouble in E5?

    I'm in E5 and I didn't see anything.

I did see someone throw his hat and scarf on the ground when the third goal went in. That was funny.

No, but someone went to retrieve the scarf, so at least someone was happy.

Not trying to get Robbo out of it but did Figgy not play an identically awful ball against Newcastle last year at home?

Sorry, I should have used sarky italics or something.

    Figgy's was far worse.

I, four or five blokes had a barney at 19;04...A lot of effing and blinding and apparently punches thrown. Not sure if any connected.. Offers to fight outside, then the stewards got wind of it and came wading in....Two heavy set blokes escorted out whilst a few others were told to calm it....Not nice to see.

It's often hard to stay in tune, if people are twatting you while you're trying to sing.

At least it was with my band. <laugh>

Not related to the actual match, but did anybody hear the mascots being interviewed before the match?

One of the wasn't a CIty or a Newcastle fan, but supported Man Utd. When asked who his favourite player for United was he said Sturridge.

Why his parents forked out the money to make him a mascot for 2 teams he doesn't support i'll never know..
