I'll be honest, I'm glad he's not playing, but sadly it's for the complete wrong reason. I'd rather him miss through an injury or a suspension, not something like this.

    Poor sod.

Colo out - defence screwed again. I'd give Mbwia another go. Yeah he is no better than Saylor with the same penchant for rash decision making, sendings off and giving penalties away, but Willo/Saylor just doesn't work.

You know Pards will stick Saylor in though.

Oh aye, he doesn't seem to rate Mbiwa. I can see why to be honest. I blame Wenger. If that twat had just took the plunge when they were looking we wouldn't have wasted our money. Damn him and his knocking back of average players. Surprsing really given his impaired vision. Didn't spot the potential in Yohan did he though, so there's something else he didn't see. Anyway he wouldn't have had the vision of Sir Mike to flog him for massive profit. He'd have tried to keep him and improve the team or something. Bloody old fool.

I'd prefer Mbiwa as Long's pace will have Taylor chasing shadows. Mbiwa more capable of matching him.

    OH DEAR!

Alan Pardew insists that Papiss Cisse can still have a future at Newcastle United.

The 28-year-old Senegal striker has had a dismal season in front of goal with just one to his name this season, and that was a penalty.

Cisse was strongly linked with a move away from Newcastle in January, but he he remained on Tyneside and Pardew has not given up on the player who made a huge impact on the Premier League when he arrived in 2012.

"Papiss isn't the type to blame anyone - he looks to himself," Pardew told the Shields Gazette.

"He's obviously desperate for a goal, and that could kick-start him.

"This weekend he might have the opportunity to do that.

"I certainly hope he does. I think he's a good guy, and he's done well for us.

"We want to get him back playing at his best again."

Afraid I've given up on Cisse.

Of course me saying that could be the end of his goal drought and the start of a goal scoring spree.

Agree with this, terrible reason to have to miss a match.

You're not alone, though unfortunately the one man we need to say it is the self same who stands by him.

I've lost all faith in Cisse. If Pards turns him round, it will be his greatest achievement as a manager here. That is saying something given his record of improving players and over achieving.

Pretty ****ing poor. No Colo which means one of the chuckle brothers (Saylor or MYM) have to play. Nevermind we're already safe and on course this season to achieve the owners planned midtable mediocrity for the rest of time.

I thought everyone in Hull liked League? As for the footie, I'd take a draw now. Just make sure you beat the mackems in the fa cup. Don't want them mouthing off about getting to the semi-finals again.

Hull was a rugby town, cos that's all we we're good at.
Footie fans had to remain in the closet till we got decent enough for fear of having the piss taken outta us. This is a heartless town at times. <laugh>
I am sure that we can beat the mackems, we bought 2 strikers in January, Jelavic and Long.
we have done the double over them.
I cant see them surviving the drop.
