I think there was only really me criticising Huddleston before, and throughout January and half of February it was very well deserved criticism.

He's since picked up, and although he still hasn't quite hit the performance levels he displayed between August to december, he's been getting a lot more involved and helping our game to flow again.

We can't expect him to dominate an entire midfield on his own. His main asset to us is him always being available to pass to, and when he has the ball he always distributes it well and swiftly, safely in to space with pin point accuracy.

I criticised before that he was always a step behind, dithering on the ball, losing it, and playing players under pressure into tricky situations.

I though Hudlestone played some exceptional balls today, it's hardly his fault if the players he passed to do **** all with the ball once they got it.

But he's definitely playing too deep, he has been for ages, he's not going to do any damage from our own box.

Silva and Toure were a class apart today.

SB said that them going down to ten men through his plans a bit, as they had worked on defending and hit them on the break, probably why Huddlestone was so deep.

Agreed. But i also think that we played better before Komapny was sent off. Afterwards we did not up the tempo and allowed Silva all the time he needed for the first Man City goal. Silva is good enough on his own without any help from us. It should have been 3-0 before the 2nd goal though.

I agree also with SB in his after match assessment. But it is done and we move on. No real damage done and still 13th,

WBA next who are light years from being a Man City.

My only real gripe was with the linesman on the east stand side in that Meyler was onside. Yes others were offside but were they really interferring with play ? Hart never saw it. A laser into the top corner. I am not alone in thinking that Meylers goal should have stood.

Fantasy football induced question, Kompany's red card - as it wasn't violent conduct is it just a 1 game ban rather than a 3 game ban????
