Head coach is only 1 part of the jigsaw. Sackings seem to be regarded as a panacea when in truth it usually runs deeper than just that. Not helped by scattergun recruitment and our puzzle still appears to be missing some pieces, despite bringing 16 players in.
Bit academic, but is it 16 .... or 17 ... or 15 ... or ? According to the transfer thread post #1 it's actually 15, 2 of which which were already here last season, so 'only' (!!) 13 new faces. But then I assume Covil is the one that makes your 16? But then there's Lo-Tutala too, which would make 17. You know when sometimes you wish you hadn't started something ..... https://not606.com/threads/summer-22-transfer-thread.399967/
Marginally off topic...I understand that Walton street car park is closed. Has anyone parked in Osborne Street cp ie next to Bonus Arena?...Is it really £3 for 24 hours?
City have a shocking record against Luton. In 17 Second Division/second tier home matches since 1950, City have won only 3 and lost 10. The wins were in May 1951 (5-3), April 1973 (4-0) and August 1976 (3-1). We are due another one!
We will be dominated physically they will bully us all over the park. Shota should have gone like he expected after the Swansea game. 3/4-0 Luton.
Who is hoping for an annihilation in this game? BUT then, what? Short lived satisfaction followed by what exactly?
This - for me Shota needs at least 4 points from our 2 home games v Luton and Wigan to keep his job. I'll gladly take a draw on Friday provided we give a much improved performance -you know, like the players showing the actually care
