Head coach is only 1 part of the jigsaw. Sackings seem to be regarded as a panacea when in truth it usually runs deeper than just that. Not helped by scattergun recruitment and our puzzle still appears to be missing some pieces, despite bringing 16 players in.

But then I assume Covil is the one that makes your 16? But then there's Lo-Tutala too, which would make 17. City have a shocking record against Luton. In 17 Second Division/second tier home matches since 1950, City have won only 3 and lost 10. The wins were in May 1951 (5-3), April 1973 (4-0) and August 1976 (3-1). We are due another one!
