Kind of accepted relegation now, and a different type of hope has taken over, shef u, Norwich, Leicester, Southampton and Leeds have all gone down to l1, sorted their **** out and come back stronger.

Sure... Ipswich, Sunderland, pompey and some others have gone down and continued to be ****ed.... But glass half full for the future

Our office is in Luton. You’re right that they are spending a lot of money on the place. You’re also right that regardless of how much they spend on it it’ll remain a ****hole.

    ADMIN MESSAGE PLEASE READ.

I've received complaints about some comments in this thread, and I ask posters to consider the content of their message before clicking send.

Representatives of ****holes from various parts of the globe have complained at being associated with Luton.

    Thanks.

Your country & standard of living is often judged on your failings rather than your strengths.
Good to see so many objecting to urban re-development & gentrification.

    Bring back the Empire.

Been to Luton a few times but only seen from the motorway to the ground, which is embedded in tight grid of Victorian/Edwardian streets.

Not sure it qualifies as a bigger ****hole than dozens of other English towns, and to be fair to them they don't seem to play the usual 'loads of money' smug southerners card.

Unusually for the south, they actually got their hands dirty making cars & vans, and also unlike the south, they are now a bit hard up.

Of course, it actually be a genuine pedigree dyed-in-the-wool bona fide ****hole, but the word is bandied about a bit too often these days.

If nothing else, he's stuck all the grafters in. First good idea he's had since...well.

It's a good idea, let's leave it at that.
