Even when we had injuries, it was clear enough the issues were far deeper than just the physio room.

That just masked the naivety and ineptitude.

You could have put well organised semi-pro conference players in from 1 - 11 and still picked up more points than we have in the last 17 games.

Good point well made, we were told that players brought in were to suit this system, clear with Eaves it does not.

Same with Josh. It's like they're there to effectively play the role of a backboard in basketball - except a 6x4 sheet of ply would be more effective.....

....or maybe would be if we could get our wide forwards and centre-mids within 10 yards to pick up the seconds.

Eaves or Magennis or even Emille bloody Heskey would be on a hiding to nowt as an isolated player against 2 decent centre-halves.

It's like our philosophy is to deliberately isolate the attacking line so there's always 2 of them vs one of ours, whether wide, central or in midfield.

As for repeatedly exposing the fullbacks same thing.

How often have we been done by short corners with nothing done to mitigate them?

Also why did we only seem to start working on set piece delivery 'til the season restart?

We may well have signed players for specific roles, but when it became clear they weren't up to it, then surely you look to put personel in positions where they're still in contact with support?

    Surely?

Oppo's repeatedly overload us down the flanks and bully us out up front ALL THE TIME!!! IT'S NOT A NEW THING!!!

Every player in football can play somewhere in a 4-4-2.

What's wrong with being hard to beat for 75 mins and try to win it or rescue a point in the last 15???

It's bread and ****ing butter stuff.

Might not win you a champions league and have the media purring, but might keep you in an average league with average players, especially when you only needed 10 more points to stay up from ****ing January.

Only 10 points needed. This calendar YEAR!!!!

Can't try to play sexy football without the fundamentals.

We've looked like an asthmatic pensioner trying to blow the wings off a weather vane since the turn of the year and there's been no attempt to offer the lads on the pitch any support WHATSOEVER!!!

That for me is unforgiveable. If they tried and failed then fair enough but they didn't.

NO WONDER the players hung Mccann out last week!!!

THEY'VE been hung out by mccann for ****ing months.!!!
