So basically what you're saying is, if you'd scored 3, and us 1, it would have been 3-1? You should be on MOTD as an expert pundit.
We'd have won every game we've ever played if we'd taken all our chances & the opposition had missed all theirs.
I will give you that you played poor. Many teams play poor because of the opposition making them play poor that was clear on Saturday. FFS it has happens to every team. Our main success was a TEAM effort not individual. Those players played the full 95 mins as they did in the last friendly. I don't know if that isn't some other kind of record in the Premiership.
You're missing the point. I'm not talking about winning or losing the game. I'm talking about the performance. You can win when being under the cosh for large spells, giving chances away but taking the few that you get. Christ, we won the league doing it.
If you'd taken the first one the whole game would have been different & you'd have Lost 10-1. Stats say 5 shots each on target. Truth is, you should have had Vardy & Fuchs Off & were very fortunate to get 1.
So we didn't create any other chances in the first half? I don't get it .. So you are saying only your chances created count? How very one sided of you.
I think you created one chance where you should have scored in the first half. You did. We created 3/4 chances where we should have scored. We didn't. Not sure what is difficult to understand about all of that.
I'd argue that Davies shouldve scored - or at least got on target - his header from the earlier corner that was identical to the one we did score from. And you could make a case for arguing that we actually created 2 chances when we did score - Davies saved header and then the follow-up that went in. Of course only one of them could go in so it doesnt affect the scoreline...
I think this is spot on. Not a fantastic performance but in the circumstances it was an unbelievable effort by the 11 on the pitch who seemed to grow in stature as the game went on. Very proud of the lads and MP.
If one of their chances had gone in any of the other subsequent chances wouldn't have materialised. Fact a ****ing mondo.
Thoroughly deserved ... http://freshfootball.co.uk/premier-...iverpool-1-man-utd-1-chelsea-player-feature/?
Interesting that Mahrez walked off without shaking hands with our players, apart from Snodger who he could hardly avoid. Walked straight off and didn't acknowledge the Leicester fans either. Ulloa wasn't much better.
