Bruce went with the front pairing that did well against Sunderland and kept his big guns in reserve. The tactic nearly worked as Hernandez in particular looked very dangerous against a tired defence and could have had a hat-trick.
Why is it when teams play that tactic against us people like you applaud their manager for brilliant tactical nous?

excuse me ladies.... but the result matters on the pitch... pretty football may be nice to look at, but this isn't the olympics, we don't get points for 'style'

I agree it was a good performance, we were unlucky/Lester got very lucky. We dominated the vast majority of the game however I would have liked to see the forwards on earlier, we absolutely battered them once Abel, Jelly and Ince came on. Performances like that today will see us ok I believe.

No, we had ****ing 4 of the bastards.

    All handballs.

How it looked from the stand anyway, MOTD replays might tell us differently.

Diaappointed with the result, but, the post by Craig of Nottingham gives me some heart. Also in the MOM posts that Hernandez appears in many peoples top 3.

We played well. We probably got lucky with one of those handballs at Sunderland so perhaps this was payback. Hernandez miss was awful though.

Bruce snr can't win with some people. If we'd have lost after changing a winning team we'd have been hammered for that.

I think the one dodgy team selection was Livermore at right back, but I guess he didn't want to sacrifice Brady's attacking threat.

that's precisely why bruce is zzz

because we did well at sunderland? it's a completely different game, aluko was brilliant against sunderland, yes, but we were on the backfoot and he held the ball up really well, we pressed them blady bla

at home against leicester it requires a different style. it's pathetic

only people are defending bruce so bad is in my opinion to be seen as different.. no one else in the country would be so supportive of a manager.. yes he's done wonders for us..

    this quote is apt

You either die a hero or live long enough to see yourself become the villain.

What was the booing all about at full time? Somebody let the inmates out of the asylum again?

We were dire. We were missing a few of our better players (Robertson, Diame, etc), but there was no excuse for leaving Jelavic and Hernandez on the bench. Yes, Jelavic has been ill/injured, but if he's fit enough for the bench he's fit enough to start as far as I'm concerned. I've been criticising Meyler and Bruce Jnr since our Championship days, and I have yet to see anything of them to convince me they could be Premier League players. We are far too lackadaisical on the ball and lack any kind of attacking potency - something which, with over £25m spent on forward players in the past 12 months, worries me. Bruce is not a tactician, and you have to be one to be a successful manager in this league

Leicester played exactly as we always did in away games under Pearson, and there's a reason we went a club record fourteen-games unbeaten on the road in 2010/2011.

Aside from getting into some good positions and fluffing the resulting chances, Hernandez was crap. His first touch was really poor and he couldn't hold the ball up for ****.

Also, the booing at full time was disgraceful. This was one of those games were the boys gave 100% but luck wasn't on our side. We had some great chances, but we couldn't put the ball in the net.

Then why didn't he play Meyler there, who's played in that position for his country, and leave Jake in his natural position, which is coincidentally where Meyler played?!

    Rocket science it ain't!

£10M man puts ball 10 meters over the bar from 10 feet out. His hair looked good though.

Not sure why people were booing, this was a different kettle of fish to the Swansea game, we've shown enough to show we will be OK and were unlucky

Just got in and it is like you say, they watch the match from a stream or even worse listen to the radio and give opinions that are frankly bollocks, we are back on track despite the result

Bit of a silly comment is that isn't it.

It's not like we weren't creating anything was it?

Livermore and Hernandez both scored anyway.

    I don't know how we didn't score.

Frustrating, but heartening too as once we had some proper attacking players on the pitch, we looked like we had goals in us.

We HAVE to start with these players from now on.

Big win for Leicester, they defended well and battled hard too.

Hard to take, but there you are. Premier League football.
