Does raise questions when you're around the bottom 3 and you have 18million pounds worth of strikers on the bench. And playing at home..
Ramirez looks like he's in a decent groove but he ain't a forward. Jelavic needs to be on in Ramirez's position with either Aluko or the aforementioned just behind him.
Exactly what I was getting at on one of my previous posts mate. Aluko is playing well but he cannot do it all himself, it's as if he's trying to pass it to himself, impossible! I would keep aluko on, give ramirez quins position and put abel on, try that for 20 mins, if no luck bring aluko off and revert to a 4-4-2 with jelly and abel the front 2
with our end of the season schedule the next 45 min are beyond important, this really could be the difference come the end of the season
Is this really the best a Sports Journo can do on a Match Day Thread with the game in progress? You're clearly better suited to being a Gossip Columnist. Any idea why we started (again) with strikers on the bench?
is that what u think though or u still quoting some BBC Hack ?? i reckon in the first half we played the best football all season - im just quoting Abe Lincoln though
i wasn't one of them that suddenly said bruce in after sunderland i said bruce got ir so right that game... an away game so he starts with no strikers on the pitch at home.. come on city. this will be a disaster
What is bad is that he has to use all of his subs tactically - to bring on bloody strikers!!!! - no injury cover so players will make niggles worse and folk wonder why we have a list of injuries. We drive on but being caught on the break is a worry.
