How can anyone think that was a dominant display , we were very average/poor for seventy minutes , playing well in the last twenty just papers over the cracks , that side that finished the game has to start against Everton , why did we ever loan ince out ? At least he has a go at players and looks like he could create something , bruce got it wrong today it's as simple as that , we needed the players who were on the bench to start and have a go at leicester they were there for the taking .
Yep, absolutely clueless customers everywhere. They are not supporters. Bloke sat next to us today with his kid, sits down and straight away goes "I tell you what, I won't be ****ing coming again if don't win. I'm pissed off with paying good money for a season pass to see bad performances". This was before a ball was kicked. Inevitably, when things get tough, he gets his chance to complain. It's what he wanted to do before the game even started. These are the people who boo loudly at full time despite the team putting in a ****load of graft. I dare say, they are the ones who are apathetic towards Hull Tigers as well.
The relevant AFCON squad was named a couple of days ago - good news is that Diame wasn't included so, all being well, we could have him back in a fortnight or so.
Your living in a dream world , how many of those 18 shots forced the keeper into a save , 65% posession counts for sod all if all your doing is passing it sidewards across the middle of the pitch , any team is going to give you plenty of the ball if you do nothing but play it across the Middle constantly then hump a long ball forward and lose posession time after time .
7 were on target and 2 hit the woodwork. And quite a few were blocked. I'm guessing you didn't watch the match, otherwise you would've known Hamer was forced into a bit of work.
Some of the people in the stadium are just whining whinging Morons. I'm sure they just go to get on the players backs. They complain when we are trying to work an opening screaming for it to be hoofed up front even when there's nobody there. Then when it is hoofed up they moan at that. Getting on the players backs after a few minutes is not good. Just stay away please.
Yep. But there's so many of them. I walked through the west stand on my way home to get closer to the crush at the steps, and it was like a zombie wasteland. The average age must 60+, I dare not try to estimate the packed lunch tally on match day. It's not surprise that the vast majority of match-day negativity comes from there.
You really have to question why some people bother going when they only sit and moan? Not healthy for their mental health for a start, and they're only pissing people around them off.
Hate this. The woman near me picked on Meyler and Brady today. Screaming at Meyler to "run forward" when the only thing in front of him was 4 blue shirts. Idiot. The only time she is quiet is when she's eating her packed lunch at half time.
It definitely wasn't dominant until a proper team was on the pitch after the 3 subs fixed the starting line up. It was dominant from then onwards, but that was also helped by leicester dropping off and sitting on their one goal lead. And re Meyler, on the way to the game this morning I was having a look through the opta stats. It may well surprise many on here, as it's often remarked how often he loses the ball, that he has the best ball retention stats out of all of our midfielders. He's also one of the best at winning the ball back and the only midfielder to have won more fouls than he's committed. Considerably more.
He always wants the ball. He nearly always makes himself available for a pass in midfield and yet people get on his back. He only seems to "lose" it so much because, more often than not, he had it to begin with more than other players.
I must admit there are a few fans around where I sit who constantly get on my tits with their negativity and constant whining.
Unlike you clueless twat I go every home game , have done for many years , what do you get for hitting the woodwork twice , and blocked shots your clutching at straws there , we were average for most of the game , either your blind or just watched a dodgy stream
He's still 155 appearances short of Anderton (who amazingly passed 500) - he'd better get his skates on.
It's human nature. It will happen AT ANY CLUB which has won 7 games in a calendar year, especially a club which was looking to consolidate after a cup final, a club investing tens of millions of ££ on players, a club playing at home against a so called hopeless relegation cert. Some people's definition of support may differ from yours, but don't slate fellow supporters for expressing frustration.
