Apart from the 1-0 scoreline, very happy with Messlier looks very assured atm, seeing as though he has had very little game time.

 

Don’t buy into costa being bad. If he hadn’t that 15m price tag people wouldn’t expect so much. He’s had a couple of decent crosses into great areas of the box to discover our supposed striker either wasn’t there at all or waiting at far post letting defenders cut crosses out easily. Hardly costas fault

 

Agree. Once we went 3 at the back we kinda played to their tune.

Without Hernandez the last 3 games we wouldn't have the points we have now. I think it's now 1 goal, 2 assists and hit the woodwork twice in 3 games. He is definitely in decline but still our best creative option by a country mile.

Thought Harrison started well. Banged in two early crosses. Then reverted back to back heels and step overs! He looks a far better player when he just whips it in.

bamford was just 2 moves ahead. It was a great dummy to set up the costa/Pablo axis. That’s what he brings to the team

 

I’d take 2-0 now, clean sheet will do the young keeper a world of good

 

McGinnis should have got a red for that elbow. Was off the ball too, so no mitigation.
