I have a bit of time to reflect and there is a positive slant on this...........................we didn't get a red card! On the negative side the game went ahead.
I have - Dutch group that sound American - I went to the lowlands gig (mid-nineties) and they were there along with bands like The Prodigy, Chemical Brothers, Radiohead, Foo Fighters etc etc - can't really remember their set, but can't remember anybody else's please log in to view this image I do remember coming home black and blue because everyone started throwing oranges at each other = I kid you not!!
Was asking 'cos I was a little embarrassed. I just wondered if they were a well known band, as I'd never heard of them. I spent some time at a gig on Sunday in the company of a really nice couple. It was only at the end of the night that I found out he was the lead singer of NRA. The band name had been mentioned earlier & I'd said 'never heard of then'. Oops! Google tells me they've had 4 albums out & Youtube let me hear them. They're actually very good, and, especially for a punk band, he's a really good singer with excellent diction. Which is ironic as he's Dutch. Wonder if the oranges is something to do with the Dutch thing (either in reality or your off your head' reality)?
Hi WJ, funnily enough I was talking to a mate who went to the Brudenell pn sunday said it was a good night i'll email you and you can forward me your footage btw i'd heard of NRA but not heard much of their music, wasn't really into punk rock, dirty, filthy talentless, bastards they're nowt else, the ****ing philistines slagged off real musicians like Gary Moore, Rory Gallagher etc
