I think we can all agree that tonight the real winner was football. Impressive display of how to kill a game off and play for 0-0 from you too.
2 properly **** teams plodding on in the division where they both truly belong. ****ing awful. And we were no better.
Evening all, I thought Weidwald got us the point tonight. I thought Hull were awful, nearly as bad as us! Yes it was a clean sheet with a makeshift defence but I think Newport would have beaten Hull. Alioski was terrible, Hernandez obviously doesn't take responsibility very well, Roofe was like a spoiled child, I thought Lasogga worked his socks off but never got a sniff. Forshaw and De Bock were ok in a poor team. I thought Sacko looked bright when he came on. The set piece delivery was rubbish. Why do they fall over so much? I think Emma was the highlight.
That game was a pancake, flat as. Our football is below mediocre, last couple of games have been mostly Ariel ping pong; we play our best football on ground. Some positives, Foreshaw and Le Bock looking good, midfield wasn't bossed against us, and Felix catching the ball more. Negatives, flat football played mostly in air, Roofe was lazy and wasn't in game. The players don't seem enthused, the inspiration to win seems to have waned, pace with most players seems to be lacking, too many very short passes, and passing as a whole was off the mark. We're badly missing Saiz. Pablo, Saiz, Alioski are our best AM formation, take one out and we have no one to sync with the other two. Going to be interesting to see who TC pairs with Foreshaw......
