So your tactic is just to bury your head, dismiss what's come from the club itself and conflate some unrelated bollocks I've never heard of to try and back yourself up. I'm sure based on your evidence you should be able to bring a class action for defamation? Crack on
I don’t deny that there were issues. I know of damage to seats. A poster on here despite not being in the first flush of youth told them to pack it in. Also remarked on when the home fans arrived after the game and it kicked off how those same ones were the first to disappear. What I dispute is that there was £40,000 of damage to one coach. Have seen no proof of it. Have you! Unrelated bollocks? Not aware of that **** stirring against City fans? Before your time?
I'm going off the quote I directed you to earlier. If you wish to dispute it's accuracy I suggest you at least listen to it, then take it up with the club. But the reasons given for the scheme not coming back are that the level of costs incurred by an element of supporters taking advantage is the salient point. Whether it was one coach, several, away end seats, fines for smoke bombs or trashing away concourses. It cumulatively made it unfeasible to continue due to escalating costs.
Big part of it is the corporate hospitality. They have about 3 or 4 levels. Ours is good but it’s nothing in comparison. Also their megastore is packed on matchday.
To be fair Castro. You’ve wasted your own time arguing over a semantic point. What do you stand to gain? Seems like a bizarre hill to die on
I was expecting the other London clubs to be up there, at least it shows other clubs can compete, especially clubs up north
Leeds sell a lot of gear. They have a lot of fans, sorry plastics, all round the country. And a lot in Norway. A few years ago when Leeds were in PL they did a survey of which clubs had the highest percentage of fans living outside the local post codes. Leeds, surprisingly, were top, followed by Liverpool them Man Utd who I though would have been in first place.
Leeds are a bit of an outlier. Big city with a loyal fan base and they have fans across the country that make the trip. I know City are looking at creating new options for revenue but it takes time. Part of it has been helped but the uptick in concourse concession sales. But City don’t have a decent spot for non corporates to drink in other than the dugout and to be fair that needs a bit of a refurb which I’m sure is coming
I'm quoting a reliable source. You've seen even less proof it didn't. Nor have you gone to the source material yourself.if you want to dispute it, take it up with Baz, Fletch, Acklams and the club.
My opinion would be that it would have been headline news in the HDM if fans had done 40k damage to a bus and trashed away ends at one or more grounds I mean they make it big news when a few plastic bottles are thrown onto the pitch
Depends if there are ongoing legal procedures, or if the club and Acklams agreed to keep it quiet. I can see how the club might think it damaging to our reputation. Baz did seem to be downplaying it.
