What's impressive about those passing stats? League positions of those teams are 1,4,4,5,12,18, which shows they mean next to nothing. You could be top of your division with those stats, equally you could be close to a relegation battle. I'm not impressed by seeing dozens of meaningless passes per game. The only stats that really matter are goals scored, goals conceded and points gained. We need to score more goals, whilst maintaining or improving our goals conceded. Do that and I'll be impressed.
The 18th place team on that list is Wigan, who started the season with an eight point deduction, so their current league position is no reflection on the way they're playing (they're actually playing very well).
