The home from is such a massive let down even if we had only won 2/3 more over the last ten home games which is still very poor home from then we would have been around the play offs. It's unbelievable how bad results have been in front of our own fans. Nice to get that point at the end today but still not a good result but obviously better than losing again.
No dribblers in the side. The way to unlock a defence like that is beating players 1 on 1, Ebiowei can’t come fast enough
We’re still 5th in the form table, only we’re 1st for away form and 17th for home form. Frustrating today, it so obviously needed changing at half time, yet we came out with the same personnel and playing exactly the same way. First game I’d have been tempted to switch Seri for Woods at half time and Smith should never start another game out wide.
Hull head coach Liam Rosenior told BBC Radio Humberside: "I thought we shot ourselves in the foot for the first part of the game and gave Huddersfield the initiative. "But the players kept going and they don't know when they're beaten, and we're now six games unbeaten. "We didn't play to our level today but we deserved to get something from the game." Huddersfield head coach Mark Fotheringham told BBC Radio Leeds: "I'm really disappointed with the manner in which we concede the goal. "But against a really in-form side at home we put in a terrific performance and that's what my team is. "There was a lot of hard work and we showed real creativity and the goal was taken excellently."
He got the team wrong and he got the subs wrong today. We have to start being honest about who's actually good enough for where we want to go
It starts with the manager being honest.... if he's totally happy with his squad as per his interview, he's lying...
Thought everyone was below par all game. First 5 minutes set the tone and on 4 occasions our playing out from the back almost cost us through poor choice of pass. Then when we go behind we are too pedestrian in our approach play. We needed to be moving the ball much quicker and turning their defence around more often. Unfortunately we spent most of the game playing in front of them. Obviously delighted with the equalizer, but the overall performance left a lot to be desired
It's not ideal as many of our creative players, Pelkas, Salah, & Traore are out injured. Nonetheless, persisting with Slater in an advanced role is inexcusable when Tufan is looking so good. He looked great when he came on today as a no.10, and then LR nullified him by playing Tetteh there.
Tufan had an immediate impact when he came on, playing between the lines. Then Rosey shepherds-crooked Docherty & Maka to get Connolly and Tettah on the pitch meaning that Tufan had to play a deeper roll alongside Seri and was far less effective. Bringing on the 4 subs actually had a negative effect on the side for a period of time, as they had to adapt the shape to match the personnel on the pitch.
It was a pure delight to see 6 ft 5 Tetteh coming short for the ball when we were lumping it in the box. I think he won every single header too on the rare occasions he was actually in the box I understood what LR tried to do by bringing on Elder, but he's never had the pace at this level to beat his man and put a cross in
Poor today. Consistency gets you to the play offs. Currently some way off that. We go again..Friday night. Allam’s GONE.
