The match day thread helped out with the commentary as a few of us switched to a Radio Leeds link which really showed up how bad Radio Blunderside is, the commentators were actually commenting on the game not swimming pools and Swans bag. Somebody needs to start a campaign to get proper commentators on Blunderside.
The first game is always pre-determined before a ball is kicked. It's either one of the games Sky showed or the one with a World Feed Commentary.
Glenn Hoddle @GlennHoddle So pleased to see Sam Claucus score on his Debut for Hull City yesterday . He worked so hard at my Academy in Spain. Keep going Sam.
A few years ago now but when KCfm had the games they had one of the best commentators, can't remember the blokes name though but blunderside couldn't go wrong if they got him
I reckon Alex is even more obsessed with pies then Hinge & Bracket, judging by the size of him now...
I think they had Garreth Roberts with him too, and you're right it was proper commentary not 2 over-comfortable idiots prattling about anything apart from the match
One of the favourites, Boro, just got away with a penalty at Preston. They've drew 0-0 meaning both bookies favourites start with a draw.
Remember him scoring a good second goal at the Ricoh for City, always thought he looked half decent. Good to see him back in the Championship.
A great idea.! Something needs to be done about changing Blunderside's commentary. Yesterday was a new low. Like many others I switched to Radio Leeds to hear a commentary on the actual football rather than Burns/Swanns social life, pies etc. The thought of 45+ more games listening to these two is unbearable!! Burgess and Roberts were a pleasure to listen to in the old days, and knowledgeable about the game and the players. Burns is knowledgeable but is distracted by the incoherent Swann and the "need to banter" with his old pal. Time to break these two up or bring in a new team!!
