I admit I'm only listening not watching but it still feels like midfield is the problem and that as too often Irvine isn't contributing much. I know he isn't the only one not playing well but he does seem to be the only midfield player who is undroppable. Feels like every time Burnsy has mentioned him it's to say Irvine wastes a ball in midfield.
Well you’re wrong Kane was awful and rightly hooked Da Silva poor Whole team poor Passing control all ****e
This is a disgrace From not buying it the ref is buying every dive Allowing the trainer on all the time Fulham killing the time Sickening
I know Irvine covers a lot of ground but for an attacking midfielder his passing is very poor. Sound like the rest all the same today.
Points more towards us finishing around 8th - 12th. We never seem able to make that incisive push into the top 6 with our lack of consistency. Still, plenty to play for and there'll be bumps in the road along the way. Even if we do miss out on the top 6, there seems to be enough good things happening where we can continue to build next season. Yes, we'll likely lose Bowen, but with an improving relationship between fans and owners and the foundations of a good side being apparent, there's reasons to be positive.
Poor mate But it was a poor performance all round. a player would do something well then hit in touch or pas to them It was contagious Longs kicking was poor And everyone else copied it Burke and de wijs passing was awful Just on andon really
Tbf going a goal down to Fulham makes it hard work They’re good they keep the ball they make you chase and the cynicism is outstanding Ref pandered to them too second half If my team played like Fulham every week aNd they did that I’d give up watching football
Obviously will be twists and turns but agree fully with KC a finish 8-12 looks ever more likely. At the beginning of the season I'd have happily taken that. BUT, for the long term future of the club and if we can only finish 8-12 and look toward next season, do you sell Bowen in the window and maximise his price.
Too many teams play like that, modern day football. After forest and then again today it gets harder to want to return to the next match, it's just not got an ounce of entertainment about it. Ball must have been in play for an hour at most.
Far too many simply waiting for things to happen... Passionless and subdued... The team were even worse. McCann OUT
Once upon a time it was just DQPR or on occasion Charlton with Danny Mills orchestrating it. Now as we are seeing it's almost any visiting team that takes the lead at any stage of the game. Blatant cheating by feigning injury, feigning indecision at free kicks and throw ins. Football needs to legislate for this new cynical deception of the officials, and unsporting behaviour. It's getting to the point where the sport is a joke with people willfully deceiving the officials in broad daylight. How many other sports allow that? Cheating is becoming embedded in football and the players are not being held to account by the FA/PL or whoever, in the form of fines, red/yellow cards. Surely if we have an observer with VAR, we could afford one for monitoring gamesmanship? Fans of all clubs hate this cheating (when they're losing!) but the real damage is done to the morality of the game and its reputation as a serious sport.. **** off Fulham you cheating ****ers.
