It's pathetic the way people rounded on Syd for daring to say something just slightly positive just because they're so upset by a game that they can't accept any level of nuanced take on it at all.
I’d be more worried if they outclassed us. They didn’t, our players didn’t turn up and clearly thought they could coast through it. Which they did but they’re not as good as they think they are and couldn’t get it over the line. Just hope everyone comes through unscathed
How dare people disagree with him!!! I'm sorry but not being able to beat a L2 over 120mins with almost out strongest available team isn't a good performance. Or have your standards just dropped that low?
Not beating a League Two team while playing a strong line-up, is a poor result, rather than automatically being a poor performance.
Think the difference is that whilst the performance wasn’t great we did enough to win. We just lacked the clinical edge. Kamara scores that chance for example and people probably shrug off a 2-1 win

No one's happy with it. It's a ****e outcome. It doesn't mean no one should be allowed to point out any positive or mitigating elements of the game. It's infantile to be so hostile towards someone doing that.

To be brutally honest we've lacked that 'clinical edge' all season,that's why we're currently 3rd bottom. I'm not sure what yesterday was?Selles fielded a very strong team,we huffed and puffed and scored one goal,as did they.Extra time should've seen us push on against tired legs,we didn't and lost on Pens. Poor result,questionable performance against lower league opposition,end result's the same...Cup exit and questions to be asked as to why we're not facing up to Palace in round 4.
It has been a problem all season I agree. I’m annoyed about yesterday like most but in reality we did enough to win bar the finishing once again. Donny came with a plan to frustrate and hit us on the break. They took their one chance. I know it’s a poor excuse but that pitch allowed them to play their game as well.
