I’m sorry but all these diagonal long balls aren’t gonna work against two centre-halves like Jagielka and Davies. They can defend them all day. Hit them with pace ffs. They’re both late thirties.
This is a perfect gane for Thudd .. picking the runs through their defence here .. if he is fit enough get him on

Williams is looking far more impressive than KLP but he's obviously not as good a player. Keane needs to concentrate more. He's off the pace and things aren't coming naturally to him like they usually do. Plus I've got him as first scorer and that's starting to look like a bad idea.
Poor half. Idk what we can do to change it in terms of impact subs. Magennis has had no service at all. Just diagonal long balls against two experienced centre-halves which is no trouble for them. Williams is the only one who seems to want to attack them with pace. Docherty’s not been great which is rare for him. Jones and Greaves look like deer caught in headlights. KLP’s decision-making needs work on.
Very poor and worrying performance. Derby should have the game won. We can’t play as bad 2nd half surely. GM needs to get into them he is not a happy man.
We've looked a bit better the last 10 minutes of the half, stopped the long ball which was just meat and drink for their 2 centre backs. They have looked slightly better going forward than use, need to step it up 2nd half.
What’s the point of taking a free kick quickly, knocking it 15 yards forward, stopping, then pass it sideways or back. We look **** defensively & Doc looks a shadow of the player from last season, not getting on the ball, not running at Derby. Putting the balls in is our best chance to score, but it needs more players in than just Magennis against 2 very experienced CB’s!
They're being caught out too often, not enough experience between them. Maybe just 1 new centre half then.
Don’t get me wrong, they’re talented CBs, but they need a 30-something experienced centre-half slotted between them in a 3-5-2 or 3-4-3 on games like this. Derby could easily be 4 nil up if their finishing was better.
