This is a worrying spell

 

Need to up it a gear or three. We’re getting outplayed by a rag-tag team of old men and mercenaries.

 

Again, lucky. Derby broke and it was three vs two.

 

Good save by Ingram. But Derby hitting us on the break too easily for my liking.

 

Are we under the cosh?

We should be 3-0 down if they had strikers that could shoot.

There’s a lot of “dribble forward three steps and pass it back to the defence”. Our midfield isn’t as mobile without Honeyman, needs fixing.

 

I mentioned it earlier but I think we need to seriously consider a back 5 this season at some point. If Derby can hit us on the break this easily, the top half teams will cut through us like piss through snow.

 

KLP needs to wake up ... and start playing simple football

Derby keeper looks dodgy. We need to put him under real pressure. Would like to see Williams on the ball but Coyle seems to be making all the forward runs down the right and using him as a decoy.

 

Agreed. He’s suffering from a bit of cowboyitis. He had a blinder against Preston but he needs to be more consistent with his decision-making.

 

Like the look of Williams, greaves and klp playing like they're drunk. Need to up this big time tho
