Whenever coin-throwing at players gets caught on TV, there's loads of publicity about it. Craig Bellamy and Rio Ferdinand during the Manchester derby for example. People who get caught doing ****ty things on camera and then getting exposed won't get any sympathy from me. Thankfully, this is the clearest image of my accidental collision with a steward on TV: please log in to view this image
You may want to avoid Facebook then. There's a campaign of fans naming and shaming him: demanding he be banned from all live football. He's added a sour taste to last night and rightfully should be banned. There's a link on the Hull Daily Mail to something else he did too.
Why anyone felt like they had to go on he pitch evades me. Bunch of sheep following the usual Cretins. Save it for when there is something to celebrate.
Its a good job this match was such a horror show that most wont want to repeatedly view it because the tosser at the end completely spoilt the celebration with the Sky commentator referring to him and his mate as if they were a lot of us instead of two ****heads, should have been a happy moment
I was terrified. I guess you could compare it to your fear of lefties, Muslims, immigrants and people who don't like the Daily Mail.
I am not afraid of any of the things you mention (have a contempt for some of them though, namely clueless lefties) Unlike some of our fans who think smoke flares lead to asphyxiation, asthma attacks and people being trampled to death in the panic. Surprised some of the hysterical ones weren't on about points deductions, in a game where there were no points to deduct, ground closures etc like they were on other occasions someone went on the pitch.
Right, but I've never suggested smoke flares lead to asphyxiation, asthma attacks and people being trampled to death so I don't understand the point of your post.
I was just making a point about people going on about those things when it is obviously not the case. It shouldn't be that difficult to understand. Voltaire would have got it.
Well, I've never seen or heard people claiming smoke flares cause those things, either on this forum on in real life. Maybe you just dreamt those things so you could have someone to argue with in your head.
They often see the person or people who are throwing coins on TV? I doubt it. People see the result of it, but it's not as televisual as a confrontation in open view. And I never said I had sympathy for someone running on the pitch at all so you're making that up. The fact is when people do get on there is always a potential for confrontations. That's probably why they stopped people getting on the pitch in the first place because some will be angry at the ref, or some player or manager. It's potentially very dangerous, here we just had shouting (as say you get from the stands at people at every game in every city) but no doubt there has been much worse in other games elsewhere.
I know. I said I don't have any sympathy for people who make a fool on themselves on TV. I didn't make anything up. Is English not your first language?
Really? How long have you been reading this forum? Never read the HDM, it's comments section or the remarks by the police?
Couple of years; not once have I seen someone arguing that smoke flares do those things, though I'm not refuting they might have done, I just haven't seen it. And to answer your other questions, no, no and no. The HDM is terrible from the few times I've been on the website, too many ****ty adverts. I don't really care what the police have to say on the matter either, especially considering the South Yorkshire branch's ineptitude led to the deaths of 96 fans at Hillsborough. Again, not disputing they've made those comments but I still don't understand why the comment was aimed at me as I've never suggested smoke flares are that much of an issue. If it was aimed at one of the nanny state-supporters on here it would have made sense.
Believe me it wasdiscussed after a City fan was banned for setting one off at Millwall and another for setting one off at Everton. (Obviously Humberside Police had solved all crime in Hull enabling them to spend time tracking these people, spending hours poring over videos as the police at the other places weren't bothered about it). I didn't aim the comment at you, I used your post showing you in the vicinity of the flare to have a pop at the nanny-state supporters (as you so,accurately describe them). If Tubbylard or Polly had posted the one you did I would have said the same, and they, who, both know me, would have known what I was driving at.
There was something to celebrate - we've got through to the play off final. If that doesn't make you feel like celebrating, you need a drop of the hard stuff in your flask.
You forgot to add ...... a scumbag ''and a ****ing half-wit'', playing up for the cameras when you're out on licence is asking to be banged up.
