A number of posters have referred to ifollow being several minutes behind the real action. I have had this problem several times in previous games, but have logged out and back in to bring it back in line. Best sorted at kick off time if no action showing on screen.
Just seen Quinniesta plays for Burton. Surprising. I can’t believe a premier league club hasn’t taken him on let alone a championship side?
2 big games coming up, MK Dons on the up a bit just now, then Ipswich, both away. Should test our mettle.
I’m sure Eaves is a really nice guy, and yes he scored 22 at Gillingham, but sometimes players are a 1 man club. He certainly looks gash and shot of confidence for us, I do feel quite sorry for him. Is it the player, or the system he’s playing in, ‘cos one thing seems certain, the system ain’t going to change. His passing is awful, terrible on the ball, and goal scoring ability has deserted him. No confidence, or consistency, although the latter goes for the team. Anyway, although disappointed in performance, 3 points all that matters. UTT. Got to go now, Strictly unavailable.
He plays his given role to perfection. Slow the game down by arguing with the referee and get caught offside whenever you can even if it makes you look a dimwit. Don't feel sorry for him - money for old rope.
Eaves looked upset when McCann spoke to him as he left the pitch. He is a good player, who knows where the goal is and he just needs to calm down a bit and do what should be natural to him.
But is he a good player? I'm not sure, he's offside a lot, gives away free kicks and apart from the one good season at Gillingham he hasn't scored that many goals.
McCann said on Radio Humberside what he said to him - he told him not to dwell on his 1 on 1 miss as it cost him another chance afterwards not long after which he missed because he was still sulking about missing the chance before it. Said he needs to learn to not feel sorry for himself when he misses a chance and instead concentrate on the next one.
Yes he is a good player. Loads of good players lose it now and again and Tom will come through. I believe he will do well for us. Look how many players get slated by fans and then come good. I just wish he didn’t run like bambi.
