How Mc Kenna was MOTM is beyond me, every time he got the ball he took ages to pass it or get rid of it. Also thought Evans was Poor, as was Hobbs but all the rest played relativley well. Chester MOTM for me although Fryatt comes a close second.
When Cairney came on he was doing the holding midfielder on his own whilst the others piled forward (including one of the centre backs). Absolutley awesome display, one of the best from any player this season.
Something very strange happened in the posh seats last night. When I arrived(7.15 ish) the members car park was half empty, the bar was half empty and half the seats were empty. Then the seats gradually filled up through the first half, the bar was packed at half time and the car park was full when I left. Was there something else going on last night that finished about 8.00pm? Very odd.
Just spoke to my son who was at the game and he said it was one of the best 0-0 draws he has seen, sounded like a good game, just need someone to put the ball in the net. Probably miss NB coming on for the last 20 minutes as he had the habit of scoring goals when he came on.
I was almost identical to the game at their place, though not got getting the win is more annoying when you're at home.
I agree with this. I would like to see Cairney play more. I don't think the lazy tag stands up any more !
despite losing my bet that was well worth the round trip. we have now had 2 0-0 results versus Brighton and played well in both. I'm an eternal optimist but even I am getting concerned on how many matches we could/should have won but can't close the deal. At the moment our play is a bit like wining and dining [insert appropriate hot lady name here *], getting her all the way to love nest and the finding you left the viagra at home. * it's Scarlet Johansson for me
Absolutely spot on, the thing is on paper a team like outs shouldn't need Viagra, but we do, that's what needs addressing, the need for it not the personnel.
Not seen any games this season (or for many seasons for that matter) but follow closely. Its beginning to remind of the 66/67 (think I got it right) season when City made a run for promotion. Many frustrating draws at home that cost them in the end. Played some great stuff and absolutely dominated teams at home but could not break deadlocks. I used to go home after games incredibly frustrated. And hmm let me see the strikers we had weren't half that bad-can anyone say Waggy and Chillo!!!
Was a fantastic game, never have i enjoyed a 0-0 game so much. Cracking performance, some great chances and i thought it was a very good turnout from the city fans.
IMO, this is the only mistake NB has made since he took over. he should have made himself available for the last 15-20mins or so as i am sure that at least 3 of our recent 0-0 draws would have been 1-0 wins = 6pts more.
