Haven't seen a replay, but looked a fair tackle, hard, but he got the ball.

We could have won 10 zip* tonight but for a combination of our paper thin squad knowing the game was already over and Bolton Town not just bending over for us like good boys should.

Therefore, 4-0 might as well be a 0-2 or a Pools’ Panel AWAY WIN.

They stuck everybody behind the ball. The bloke in front of me was furious that we weren't attacking. We were 3-0 up, there was hardly a need to slaughter Bolton or do anything rash. If we do that another 40 odd times, take a comfortable lead and then just knock the ball about I'll be happy.

Geez...Burton beat Birmingham, which tells you a lot about Birmingham ...Despite Harry's words they're definitely aren't tearing up any trees.

Excellent performance, particularly in the first half. 3 at the back worked well, Hector is a class act, hope we can sign him on a permanent. Meyler and Larssen control the midfield, Clark did very little wrong, but compared to Aina is not at the same level, really impress with Aina. Dio had a good game, was please for him. Turbo and Bowen were thorn in the Bolton's side all night.

Commanding first half performance .. during which Grozicki Aina Bowen and Larsson were outstanding .. game over at half time and it showed in the second half tbh however Madine must have won every header against our 3 centre backs second half .. while Grozicki will get the plaudits for setting up the first 2 and scoring the third I thought throughout the match Aina Hector Larsson and Bowen were excellent for the full 90 .. added bonus Dio actually scored woohoo .. tbh Bolton's defence first half was all over the place due to the speed we attacked but I really think they will struggle to survive this year didn't have a lot going forward until Madine came on .. onwards and upwards a thoroughly well deserved 3 points .

What was this Meyler tackle then?? I can't for one second think the boy David was dirty...

    Bolton boss Phil Parkinson:

"How that's not a sending-off I'll never know. Meyler's left the ground two-footed and launched himself into Jem's standing leg.

"It's a leg-breaking challenge. It should have been a straight red. We won't know until we get him back to Bolton the seriousness of the injury."

"We were second best all over the pitch. They [Hull] were outstanding."

Great in the sense how injury ****ed we are.

Grosicki is too good for this league, he's shown that but when he wants to, Ehab is not the sort to try and keep him, he'll be rubbing his hands together imagining another £10m in th bank and will probably accept less

Bowen is a superstar in the making - best player to come out of City since Cairney plus he's a natural finisher and he's also eye-catching so expect interest soon from the big boys.. enjoy it while it lasts

I think he shat himself and started running back when he saw our player on the wing darting forard, that player (Kingsley?), whoever it was should be given an assist because otherwise Bowen would have been offsideski. Great goal though, lovely touch from Dio and superb turn from Bowen. Jarrod's value must be going up each game.

Does Kamil have a release clause in his contract that gets triggered at a certain level or is he one of the few players without one?

    exactly
i think we handled the second half perfectly
it was actually so wierd to watch

we were just that much better than them that we just passed the ball around like a couple of mates playing football..
like seriously.. we were that good

we took our foot of the gas.. and just passed it around.. taking it easy.. literally no threat to our goal

and then.. we make it 4-0.

possibly the most one sided game i have ever seen

An Italian friend of mine once told me that their national team rarely ever won more than 4-0, because there was no need to. Perfect result.

    i ho
" But clearly you haven't seen what's gone on there over the season. Sold all best players with very little investment in replacements, even with parachute payments"

The point being made is we were **** tonight and made hull look good. That's irrespective of where they were last season. Even when they went two nil up I think it was their only two shots on target and down to ****e defending. Otherwise it was a nothing game till that point"

    utter bullshit

meyler and larsson absolutely ****ing dominated the midfield which allowed groshitski to run riot.. honestly we would have won 8-0 if we didn't take the foot off the gas
we completely and utterly destroyed bolton in every area of the pitch.. and if they made us 'look' good.. then heaven to forbid their next game.
    we absolutely ****ing destroyed them

I lost my **** today in front of the wife and my eldest. If I'd have got to the twats I'd not have stopped."

    "Gobby little ****ers"

"Feel a twat mate, I'm nearly ****ing 40. Our Peg was in tears at one point, she saved me from a banning order."
