He (?) doesn't watch them week in week out! I don't see it like that at all, and the stats every game don't say that. However, yesterday we were at least a little more controlled than usual. And the possession stats were as high as a whopping 46%. There was next to no point Magennis being there, given the lack of service or quality of ball up to him.
There are bigger implications here than just KLP’s situation, what does it say to our other youth players that we give incentivised contracts, then when the terms met, try and use not starting them to try and blackmail them into signing a new deal they’re not happy with?
A rather disappointing end to the game yesterday. Even though with the quality of the crosses Whyte put in, I was impressed by him especially in the first half, we should have been more than 1-0 up, before the sending off I felt we were more than likely going to increase our lead. Smallwood's pass to Burke was poor, totally wrong-footed him and he had no option really to do what he did. If we had gone onto win, which we should have, then his red would have been well worth it, but now it feels rather less so. I assume it will be a 3 match ban as it would have been a straight red, even though he already had been booked? At least we have a couple of centre backs to replace him in Jones or McLoughlin. Up to the sending off, I thought the back 4 did well. Honeyman and Docherty had good games, Whyte and Wilks were a threat, but as many have said we desperately need someone who can put the ball in the net.
I think Madine showed yesterday how a No.9 should play, and in just my opinion I don't think Magennis or Eaves are up to it. I would sooner see someone like Madine and KLP with pace playing off him upfront, especially now Whyte is putting good crosses into the box.
Josh tymon quote “I’ll not go into too much detail but I was advised what to do and I went with that.“ He might still come good tymon but I don’t think even the biggest allam haters will say he made the right choice?
Must just be personal then mustn’t it? Ehab hated Keane and wants only him on 25 quid a week but gives new deals to all the others and signs all these new players on contracts they’re all happy to sign. That’s got to be it. It’s personal. ehab wants klp to be a slave to hull city. The poor kid.
Highlights. If Burke hadn't brought Yates down I think Long had a half chance of saving that goal, he was off his line quick enough.
