Right - and how many who are underachieving has he chosen to make it more difficult for himself to get rid of?

The point wasn't that Liam. Can't be sacked. The point was if the board felt he was underachieving he wouldn't have been offered a more favourable deal.

Jesus your clutching at straws.
Did I say they thought he was underachieving?
why do you keep making things up?

No it wouldnt have been
It was based on the terms of the various people's contracts
That's what I said to begin with

It's all pre agreed as part of the contract. But has no bearing on the fact that clubs don't give managers improved/longer deals if the board are unhappy with progress.

If I respond to somebody's post it means my views are somehow related to their post rather than what I said?
You have a strange kind of "logic".

If you're replying to a quote then yes, you're relying in that context.

If you're not directly replying to someone then don't use the quote function.

It's how message boards work :emoticon-0148-yes:

If I was the owner I may want to give a longer contract providing there were get out clauses
There may have been 18 months remaining on a contract but a new 30 month contract may have termination clauses every 6/12 months
I think the club will be unsure as to the future

I'm saying you should judge my views from what I say and not what somebody else says

Right, so what you said was in direct response to my previous point. So you're replying in the context of that specific debate.

If you want to make a general point then don't quote a previous point.

Rosenior has an improved deal. That wouldn't have happened if the board weren't happy with his performance. Moyes severance, or the fact he can still be sacked have absolutely **** all to do with that specific premise which you decided to reply to.

But even then you've missed the point of it as usual, so this is just gonna go in circles and I really can't be bothered.

Good

Blackburn's defence against Huddersfield the other day looked shocking. If a home team can't be motivated to attack a team like that from the very start it brings into question the stubborn and wasteful tactics adopted by an unproven management team. To be successful you need to have the courage to take chances, not to sit on the ball and pass it in any direction except forward. The heat is on, sort it out!

To lighten the mood my mate says why not try Slater along side Delap , Morton did a good job second half the other day, Slater is nippy , best and has pass and shot ?
Just wondering - no he’s not going to win headed layoffs !! Don’t be silly - in advance
