    Birmingham City will be without influential defender Dion Sanderson for Tuesday night's crunch clash under the MKM Stadium lights against Hull City.

    Sanderson was given his marching orders by referee James Bell just after the hour for a challenge on midfielder Will Smallbone with the Blues going on to lose 4-3 in a thrilling St Andrew's contest, but the defeat leaves them 20th in the Championship, one of four teams level on 38 points with Stoke City who occupy the final relegation spot.
