Thinking of you lot who went to the KC, freezing your tennis balls off, dennis and his flask of Honey Jack, and Campbell coming on late...
Has to be 2 point dropped rather than one gained, but denying Barnsley the 3 I guess was quite important. Sound a pretty dire game and to endure that and the cold can't have been much fun. Seems Bowen and Larsson have been the best of a bad bunch in most games, at least they both seem to put in a reasonable good level of performance consistently.
I think you've made your point, Leon. We're inconsistent ****e. But we knew that, surely? Celebrating a point at home is easy when you are so grateful for it. 4 points, from the last two games, will do me. Get the players rested, get behind them and make them feel like they are doing a good job in battling for us - under the current circumstances, I think they are.
He kind of won a header, not sure he knew anything about it - it just hit him in the face and went out for a goal kick.
No the coldest at The KC was years ago when we had the temp gauge in corner of South/ West stand -11 was the lowest I’ve seen, even the Hartlepool game was colder than last night, on another note a man suffered a terrible fall on the walkway just after the first bridge I heard him smash his head from 20 yards away he was unconcious for at least 5 mins, it was treacherous, and as we got near the stadium a steward with a few bags of grit was chucking it about, at 19.35, too late Ehab.
It was a death trap in and around the stadium. The Walk ways through the park and to the park and ride should have had grit put down. Sorry to hear about the chap that fell. Hope he's ok. Surprised that there weren't more casualties- terrible conditions. Fair play to Barnsley for a very decent away following giving the conditions.
A friend who passed by a few minutes later said he was stood up with Paramedics and stewards in attendance, a bit scary at first, and I think it was his little grandson who was terrified and crying seeing him on the ground, we tried to comfort him but it as quite upsetting
I know Dawson scored last night and he was in a few people's MOTM but I thought he was a liability once again. He's at fault for their goal and anyone with pace can have a field day against him. On the other hand, MacDonald's been great since he came in. Will Keane was garbage last night too Also, I'd be all over trying to get McBurnie if Swans stay up. What a good player he is, no idea why they played him wide though
Fair enough, a point a piece. Everything goes out the door and anything goes in conditions like last night. We didn't play badly either we were mostly solid and created enough just didn't score enough.
It was just one of a few places that popped up I had to pick my fake address from. and as i'm old....
Recently ive watched a few games on Instagram where an iPhone has simply been placed in front of the telly with ifollow on. Instagram seems to survive the full 90 mins. A guy off twitter satfeeds? used periscope but got banned and is slowly working his way through the various streaming sites but usually gets rumbled. Was it the forest game he switched 3 times but couldn't get back on for the last 20 mins?
Don't forget Barsley have a very decent record here over the years, just as we have at Jokewell. Don't ask me why we have this mutual home weakness. 4 points out of 6 against them this season is acceptable.
Better to have thousands of kids and seniors on proper concessions helping to boost attendances, though I feel many will have been lost for good.
