Just watching the highlights of the Birmingham game, some excellent performances. Belloumi looks very special, the way he plays have similarities to Mahrez. Brown also looks a real talent, as does Moore. The future looks bright.
The average age of our u21s is falling. We had a 16 & 17 year old in centre midfield. 17 year old Okike came on at left back. The current cohort of u18 second year scholars are really high quality. Jagielka, Carter, Okike. Ocaya, Leech. Bobby Moore though is the pick of the lot. I really expect him to be in the first team picture in 18 months. He reminds me a lot of John McGinn with his unique way of getting about the pitch contributing in all the ways you want your midfielder to. Then on top of that you have McCarthy Ashbee, Shehu, Brown and Tinsdale who could all contribute right now I feel if we needed them to. Of course not all of them will make it but clearly their has been a change in approach to make sure players are breaking through more often
I've been very busy over last few days so hadn't been checking any City news until today. Lucky I did as I was off to Loftus Rd tomorrow for the U21 game which was scheduled for then when the fixtures were issued and was apparently changed without anything on the website. Poor.
