If Blackburn are playing hardball then f**'em...Rhodes as never scored a goal in the premier league...I heard some Blackburn joker on 606 say that he's worth £15m. He must be OD'ing on chicken burgers! Move on City....Deeney is the better option...
As for Welbeck. How the hell can Man Utd say they want rid but won't sell to a top 6 club ? Surely this is against the freedom of movement. His lawyers must be loving this...His wage demand would be out of our league so again move on to another target..

Yeah but our long money would more then take care of his wages for a bit!
 
Why didn't we get a replacement before we sold Long? I know Southampton may have only given us a limited window but if they really did want him they would have extended it. Now we have sold Long we are considered to be desperate for a striker whereas before we weren't thought to be desperate. Our rush to sell could easily have cost us a few million rather than gained a few million.
 
Is there no chance of us getting Remy?

He's standing out by a mile for QPR in their game vs spurs. He's fast as **** and would do much better with our crossing play too.

Doubtful, would seem to me he would go to a top club if he left them. Not Man U obviously they cant get into Europe.
 
Sky are saying that Blackburn want £12m to sell Rhodes so it's not like they wont sell at all.

I think we should pay but not throw in Alex Bruce as well. We need all the central defenders we can get.
