All this talk of Deeney or even Wellbeck is premature as far as the Yorkshire Post is reporting... "but sources in Hull have indicated to The Yorkshire Post that the transfer has happened so quickly this week that the club has, as yet, no ready-made replacement lined up."
Finally Bruce speaks on the matter... http://www.hulldailymail.co.uk/Shan...s-Hull-City/story-22728846-detail/story.html?
Great to know Dean Hadley will be staying at City! http://www.thenational.ae/sport/foo...tico-madrid-dean-hadley-staying-at-hull-city?
I suppose that's fair enough. I'm pleased we aren't going to "panic buy". Either the HDM can't calculate 10% of 12.5 million, or West Brom are due 10% of the profit, which would be the £600000 they mention.
Well, yes, they're all related to profit (or indeed loss) on a player in a way, but that's not how I interpreted the previous post. I thought he was suggesting that all sell-on clauses were purely profit-based, which is not true.
Which is club speak for "We are not getting a replacement but the shareholders have made a nice little profit"
Im just supprised that we accepted a bid for our number 1 striker without a replacement lined up when we were already down a striker with Fryatt leaving.
