    Without having seen him play....

Whatabout having a stab at Diafra Sakho who West Ham just tried to sign.
He seems to have had an excellent season with Metz, although it would be a gamble with the Premier League.
I do know how much we all love to judge players on Youtube....:)

Here's the article regarding Wham pulling the plug on the transfer.

Edit: Would also be entertaining to hear Burnsy get confused with Sagbo and Sakho....

We've been linked in the Daily Mail, but I wouldn't have thought he was first choice to replace Long...

The Daily Star mentions that we might offload Quinn for £2m and Elmo for £3.5m too. Would be hard to turn down that sort of a figure for Quinn

Elmo for 3.5 mill? He's worth more than double that for his playing contribution to our success, infectious enthusiasm, and team spirit. No way Bruce would consider letting him go for anywhere near that figure.

Hopefully Bruce or someone close to the club will speak on all these rumours today and clarify a few things. We cant be about to lose quinn, elmo & long 3 days before the season starts.. its madness.

Im thinking the Elmo rumour is bullshit, no way would we accept such a low bid and he's always said he loves working with Bruce, its why he joined us in the first place.

The Quinn transfer is likely as we cant offer him first team football and he seems like the kinda guy who wants to play week in week out and not just collect a pay check.

Long.. this has probably been ticking over in the background for a while and im sure once Bruce was alerted about it he would have been sorting out a replacement, and it would have to be someone who's better than Long.

Paddy Power tweeted last night that Southampton will pay £12m to Hull City for striker Shane Long and Long will sign for Liverpool on friday. :D

12 million for Shane Long would be decent business but only if we bring someone in. I know Brady and Ince could play up top but both are unproven at the very top level.

Jelavic and Ince ran Stuttgart ragged on sunday. Stuttgart are by far the best team we have faced so far this summer.

We just need to hit the back of the net more. It would be madness to not accept £12m for Shane Long.

As usual you've posted something that was said 15 hours ago by TommyTiger.
Do try and read earlier post before making ****ing stupid statements like this, which of course you usually do, knobhead.

Everyone's allowed to slip the odd time - but Tickles is a repeat offender when it comes to posting ancient 'news'.
