It says 'acquiring a stake and attaining representation', it doesn't say we want free shares or any involvement in the day to day running of the club, you seem to be seeing what you want to see, rather than simply reading what it says.
Wow that's underwelming for a group who claim to represent the majority of fans I doubt they'd have enough to even represent North Ferriby !!
We woud hope that the things we do would benefit all fans, but we can't claim to represent anyone other than our members and we don't.
I claim that the majority of City fans want to remain Hull City, the HCST don't claim to represent them. You're a really dim individual, it's a trait found in most 'Allam can do what he likes' types.
How does it do that? It's a supporters trust, which any Hull City supporter is welcome to join. The Hull City Official Supporters Club also acts on behalf of its members, which isn't every single City supporter.
Yep. Very true, neither speak for all fans. That's what I'm saying. So neither should imply they do. That seems to be something agreed on too.
You help make my point. You get sensitive at any questioning of the Trust. Yet you claim to be able to see its short comings. I'm not 'sniping' I'm expressing my opinion. Pompously dismissing opinions, rather than considering why people hold them is more negative than the opinion itself. The Trust needs to clearly show it's more than just a committee vehicle or it dilutes it's voice when it steps forward to talk on members/ fans behalf. In my view, it falls short on that, especially with the replies on here. That's not sniping, it's an observation from a supporter. No need to be sensitive or take it personally. That simply puts people off a trust they can't feel a part of. The name change is an important issue, but it seems to be masking many others. In my view, the trust should be asking for opinions, quantifying the extent of opposition, and getting a concensus on a way of dealing with it. Alongside that, the trust should be looking at the other issues associated with being a Hull City Supporter. There should be a clear conduit for people to raise and discuss issues, and then for the concensus to be supported by the trust. That's not a 'snipe' as you dismissively label it, it's the opinion of a supporter. If my perception's totally wrong, I'd expect a group wanting to be representative to at least consider why I have that perception and not just make dismissive generalisations.
I am more than happy to take on board any genuine criticism of HCST, I wasn't posting on behalf of the trust, my post was a personal and aimed at you specifically. Since you got kicked out your seat, your criticism of the trust(and previously CTWD)has been petty, inaccurate and unreasonable. It's your opinion and you're welcome to it, but the trust has to act on the wishes of Hull City fans as a whole, not just those of DMD. You, Chazz, Happy etc are never going to join the trust, you'll just try and find reasons to criticise us on message boards and that's fine(I'm sure all trusts have their detractors), I'm just not going to waste any more time get worked up about it. I'd elaborate further, but I've a fillet streak, pea shoots and Merlot that require my immediate attention.
