For anyone who's interested... MEETING NOTES HCST Annual General Meeting 2015 21st February 2015,11:00am Royal Station Hotel, Ferensway, Hull http://hullcitysupporterstrust.com/wp-content/uploads/HCST-AGM-Minutes-210215.pdf
Cheers OLM. Quick questions: TC had 25k, they've donated 18k to 3 genuinely awesome causes, but what about the remaining 7k? What's happening with that? I thought you were nominated as a member of the FWG, from the FWG to represent fans at the SAG? Why is this being presented as you being the HCST rep representing all fans on the SAG? I've love to hear why anyone thinks FC have been treated badly by the SMC. Subsidising their games not enough? Kinell. Almost makes me feel sick that any City fan can think FC has been treated badly by anyone let alone the very people paying them to put games on ffs. I wasn't going to but....can't help myself... Hull City Supporters’ Trust is the trading name of Tigers Co-operative Limited
I think some of the money was available for past shareholders to reclaim, but I'm not entirely sure to be honest, I'll check. I am the FWG representative on the SAG, I just happen to also be the HCST representative on the FWG.
It says 10 people are now on the board and rather than individual elections, that those ten wold decide who does what on the 23rd of February. Have those results been posted?
They haven't. The majority of the roles were allocated on Monday night, but there were some bits that we didn't quite get sorted(there were roughly thirty things that someone needed to take responsibility for, five of them are yet to be allocated, one committee member couldn't attend the meeting), but the roles allocated will all be announced next week.
So, let's be clear about this: The SAG invited one member of the FWG to attend their meeting as a representative of the FWG. The SAG also invited one member of the HCST to attend their meeting as a representative of the HCST. These invitations where seperate and could have given supporters two seperate representatives at the SAG meeting. It is purely coincidental that you, OLM, was chosen by both groups to attend in two seperate capacities - two invitations, one presence. Is this the correct way of understanding this, or are we back to misrepresenting the reality?
You've completely misread it Fez. The SAG agreed to have one of the FWG at their meetings and I was chosen to attend. The HCST weren't invited to do anything, I just happen to be the HCST rep on the FWG.
Why is there no pictured of the 10 committee members ? Also it seems strange HCST claim they are not CTWD but all the comittee have strong links to that organisation and the Web page has at least 3 articles about CTWD.
FFS OLM that is REALLY shabby and unprofessional. Everyone knows that anyone not at a meeting gets stitched up with any outstanding or unwanted tasks! Now *that* is tradition!
Kinnel, the committee only got voted in on Saturday, give us chance. Six of the committee were involved in CTWD, four weren't. The website has all the CTWD articles on it, it used to be the CTWD website, we haven't deleted anything, we're just not adding any further CTWD content.
Yes, you are right, a poor misreading of the paragraph, my humble apologies to all concerned - it's been a long week! My mistake (a genuine one) does have a positive in that it highlights the care now being taken to be clear about the various roles and relationships involved; a great endorsement for the term trust. I shall be more careful myself in the future; thank you for pointing this out so quickly..
I think it's worth mentioning that James Mooney is insistent that the representative on the SAG from the Fans Working Group is just that, and does not represent any other group on the SAG.
